If you don’t have insurance, or if I am not in-network with your insurance provider, sessions will be billed out-of-pocket. While this means paying directly for services, it also comes with key benefits:
• Greater privacy, as no information is shared with insurance
• More flexibility in how often we meet and how we work, without having to get approval from insurance companies.
• Freedom to focus on your needs—not insurance restrictions.
• No requirement for a mental health diagnosis unless neededPayment is due at the time of service. I can provide a superbill for possible out-of-network reimbursement.

Once we decide to move forward together, we’ll begin with an intake session.
I use a biopsychosocial-cultural approach, which means we’ll look at your history, identity, relationships, and environment as deeply interconnected. This process helps us understand what’s bringing you to therapy and begin shaping a personalized plan rooted in your goals, values, and lived experiences.

I’m in the process of completing the 3,000 supervised hours required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) in order to become fully licensed. During this time, I work under the supervision of a licensed therapist.
